The Jana Sena Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party have been allies for quite some time now, with both the parties unifying their power on several occasions and going against the ruling YSRCP. However, in recent times, there seems to have been a gap between the two parties, with neither inviting the other for any events and the two planning their own individual events.
Things took a new turn when Pawan wasn’t invited to the Prime Minister’s visit to Bhimavaram recently, despite being an ally of the BJP and despite hailing from a town near Bhimavaram. Moreover, Pawan si not being granted an appointment with the Prime Minister, despite trying for one for several months now. There is reportedly no communication from the PMO, or the central BJP leadership, with Pawan at all.
Pawan is also said to be questioning why the BJP is marooning him, especially when his party has one assembly vote when it comes to the presidential elections, for which the BJP has asked the AP government for support. Pawan wasn’t even invited or informed of BJP’s Presidential candidate Draudapdi Murmu’s visit to AP recently. All of these things are said to be upsetting Pawan, who is reportedly thinking of cutting ties with the BJP.
