TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu said that it is not fair for the leaders to jump into other parties.
After TDP lost in the recent elections and could win only 23 MLAs and 3 MP candidates, several felt that the party is at the end of its political career. This made a few of the leaders of the party, jump into BJP.
Speaking about such leaders, Naidu on his visit to Kuppam constituency, said that it could be fair if the political leaders leave the party for the benefit of the constituency or for any other purpose, but not for the self benefits. He said that those who left TDP after the elections, had to do it only due to their self benefits.

It is to be recollected that, Naidu after forming the government in 2014, has invited 23 MLAs and 3 MPs from YSRCP into his party. No one is going to believe that all such leaders who defected into TDP, did so, for the benefit of the constituency.
While Telangana Chief Minister KCR is known for performing the party defections like a boss, Naidu occupies the next place. So there is no meaning in him blaming BJP, regarding the defections, as it an open secret that any leader would leave the party only for their self benefits.
