Naga Chaitanya’s next movie Thandel is progressing its shoot swiftly. It is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti and is being produced by Bunny Vaas and Allu Aravind.
Thandel is the most expensive film in actor Naga Chaitanya’s career so far and the producers are investing a lot of money because they believe the story has universal appeal and can attract audiences from all over India.
Currently, some major portions of the the film are being shot on a special set in the BHEL area, Hyderabad. The art director is said to have erected the set which recreated the look and feel of Pakistan.
In the story, Naga Chaitanya plays the role of a fisherman from Andhra Pradesh who ends up in jail in Pakistan after crossing its waters. The crucial scenes set in Pakistan are currently being filmed. To replicate Pakistan, a large set was constructed in a private location near BHEL in Hyderabad.
Actress Sai Pallavi plays the female lead in the movie and this is the second film where Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are sharing the screen together after Love Story in the direction of Shekhar Kammula.
