Right from the day, Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan opted out of supporting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, there were numerous stories on several TV channels, to malign his image.
The Telugu media is no more being considered as reliable for the authentic information, as the entire media, is backing only two big political parties in Andhra Pradesh. While the caste is one of the main reasons for backing the political parties, the other one is the assurances like the advertisements from the government etc.
Due to such reasons, the Telugu media is only focusing on highlighting two parties and is indirectly saying a strict no to rest of the parties. Janasena, which was considered as the third largest political party of AP, had to face several suppression, throughout the political journey in the last five years. Pawan Kalyan’s personal life has been in the debates in the TV channels over the months.
Even after the elections, the attack is still being continued on Pawan with several undisclosed strategies. In the recent times, when Janasena vacated few buildings in Hyderabad, the media jumped to report that Pawan Kalyan is quitting the politics. But the reality is the Janasena Chief just took the buildings for lease till the elections and right after April 11th, he had to vacate those.
The Janasainiks countered the TV reports, saying that, Pawan Kalyan does not possess crores of rupees like the other political leaders and so had to vacate the buildings after the elections. They even said that Pawan is the only leader to participate in the welfare activities, even after the elections, referring to his donations to Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Guntur.
Adding to it, Pawan clearly mentioned quite before that his alliance is going to be with the communist parties and not TDP or YSRCP. As said, the Janasena had an alliance with CPI and CPM, along with BSP in the recently concluded assembly and Lok Sabha elections in AP.
Moreover, Pawan Kalyan succeeded in implementing the zero budget politics, which no other politician can think of. The best example for it was the candidates he chose for the MLA and MP seats. A conductor’s son, a farmer’s son and several such middle class and lower middle class people got the seats in Janasena, after Pawan found the commitment in them.
Keeping up the confidence, Pawan had in such candidates, most of them have already started working for their respective constituencies, even before the results. While the Punganur MLA candidate from Janasena, Ramchandra Yadav is trying to bring the railway line and already consulted the railway authorities in this regard, JD Lakshmi Narayana is taking care of the highway roads extension in Vishakhapatnam. Karanam Rahul of Kalyanadurgam constituency, as promised before the elections, has erected a borewell, with his own money.
Having seeing the developments like this, Pawan who promised to bring the new age politics, seems have started it already and has a long way to go. Pawan who promised to stay in the politics for 25 years and bring the change he wished, has brought a considerable change already. It should be seen, whether he would withstand amidst of the caste based media, which is ever-ready to ruin the third alternative political party in AP.
