The anticipated has happened as the Telangana Chief Minister KCR has announced that there won’t be SSC examinations in Telangana this year. This resulted in the promotion of the 5,34,903 students to the intermediate without any exam.
This announcement happened after KCR discussed with educational minister and his top officials rigorously about the options left for the state after High Court clarified that the state shouldn’t conduct 10th examinations in the GHMC region and Ranaga Reddy district. Finally, KCR’s sarkar decided to cancel the examinations.
Now, the main question in the minds of parents and children is – On what basis the students are going to get promoted to the Intermediate? So, for this, the Telangana government has adopted the Grading system under which each and every student will be provided with certain grading according to their internal assessment marks.
These Internal assessment marks of every student were already uploaded in state SSC board official site and the educational board will consider those marks to provide the students with gradings. In 2015 this system of internal assessment marks procedure was introduced which will be given to the student based on his/her conduct and their knowledge in each and every subject.
However, the government made it clear that they are not considering the external assessment marks and the pre-final results for the grading system as they haven’t been uploaded to the official website yet.
