Director Srivas’ next movie ‘Rama Baanam’ is getting ready for release. With Gopichand and Dimple Hayathi playing the lead roles, the movie has Nassar, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar etc., playing other important roles. Mickey J Meyer composed the music. This is their third combination movie after ‘Lakshyam’ and ‘Laukyam’.
Srivas made some interesting comments during his interaction with media. He says that three of Tollywood blockbusters has resemblances to one of his story which he wrote long back. They are “Srimanthudu’, ‘Satamanam Bhavathi’, and ‘Maharshi’. But, he says that the core point of his story remained untouched and he wants to make that movie anyway. He said that he narrated the story to NTR who suggested that it would not work with him. “Had that movie been made with NTR, ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Maharshi’ would not come”, he added.
Though he initially thought of complaining about this to Writers’ Association, he backed due to professional reasons. He also added that Dil Raju is suggesting to do it with Biggest star like Aamir Khan.
It is to be seen what similarities are there with the 3 movies he mentioned when this movie hits the screen.
