Recently, Andhra Pradesh TDP state president Atchannaidu was arrested by the police. Police arrested Achennaidu at his residence in Nimmada, Srikakulam district, and shifted him to Kotabommali police station.
A case has been registered against Atchannaidu for threatening a candidate nominated as a Sarpanch candidate in Nimmada.
It is learned that there was a dispute between YCP and TDP leaders regarding this. A case has been registered against 22 people in Kotabommali PS in this regard. Police arrested 12 people yesterday in connection with the incident.
He was arrested in this case. Moreover, as part of MP Vijay Sai Reddy’s visit to Nimmada, the police took precautionary measures to prevent incidents from happening.
TDP chief Chandrababu was outraged over Achenna’s arrest. He alleged that the YCP is creating terror in Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, and Visakhapatnam districts. Chandrababu demanded that the false charges against him be immediately dismissed.
