The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to conduct the AP Board Exam 2021 despite the surge of Covid-19 cases in the state. The state even released admit cards for Intermediate Public Exams (AP Inter hall tickets) on Thursday, April 29.
While many state boards have postponed the examinations, the YSRCP government has announced that the exams for Classes 10 and Intermediate will be held as per the schedule.
Although the government claims that exams are to save the students’ future, the Opposition parties, parents of the students and many others are now urging the Govt to cancel or postpone them in view of the virus spread.
Addressing the same issue, Tollywood actor Navdeep on Friday questioned the possibility of conducting the exams in AP.
The actor took to Twitter and wrote, “AP recorded its highest ever cases of over 17354 today. Ive been told many students tested positive after practical exams between 30th March to 14th April and 10.3 Lakh students are expected to attend Physical exams from May 5th. Maybe this should be reconsidered? #educateme.”
AP Inter exams 2021 are scheduled to be held from May 6 to 23, while Class 10 board exams will be held from June 7 to 16, 2021.
