In the recent meeting of YS Jagan with Narendra Modi, the AP’s CM is said to have asked Modi to extend the initial 5 years span to 7 years for Andhra Pradesh people who are in Telangana to come back to the home state and get the local status. To this, the central government gave green signal.

There are several AP government employees who are near to the retirement in Telangana. Post bifurcation, they were not able to come back to Andhra Pradesh on time to get the local status. As the time span has been extended, this helps them to move back to the home state. Apart from the government employees in this category, there are several people who stayed in Telangana for various reason and were not able to make it in time to Andhra Pradesh.

This move from the central government is a great gift for all those people. As YSRC and BJP are appearing to be in line as of now, the central government is taking YS Jagan’s requests into consideration.
