As crime rates have increased unduly in Nanakramguda area, the Cyberabad police are now aiming to beef up the security.
ADP India, one of the business outsourcing solutions tied up with the Cyberabad Police for CCTV installation. They installed 51 surveillance cameras as part of the Community CCTV Project in the Nanakramguda area. The network, ranging over four km, is designed to assist the police maintain a close vigilance and track real-time all movement on the streets to increase the safety of citizens.
M Venkateshwarlu, DCP (Madhapur) speaking after launching the network on Tuesday, stated surveillance cameras remarkably help in deterrence of crime apart from reducing time and resources spent on maintaining peace, law and order.
The launch event was graced by a limited guest list, who were in adherence to the COVID-19 norms. The VIP guest list included Mr. M. Venkateshwarlu, DCP, Madhapur Zone, Mr. Raghunandan Rao, ACP, Madhapur Division, and other senior police officials. On behalf of ADP India, Mr. Vijay Vemulapalli, General Manager & Managing Director, Dr. Vipul Singh, Divisional Vice President, and other senior leaders were present at the ceremony.
Last year, CCTV’s were installed in Peerzadiguda, Boduppal and few less secured regions.
