After assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu severely went against Election Commission saying that there were irregularities in the way the elections were held.
While opposition parties slammed those gestures as the defeat indications, Naidu strictly went against it saying that he is extremely confident of winning in the elections. But he continued to go against EC, demanding to count 50% VVPAT slips.
Now, after the election code came down, most of the Telugu news channels have anticipated the victory of TDP in the elections and Naidu sounded even more confident about his victory. But much to the shock of everyone, he did not stop his fight in Delhi.
Naidu along with 20 other opposition parties have reached the EC yesterday and put a demand to count 50% VVPAT slips, for proper justice. He is also raising the heat in the capital city, by voicing out non-BJP front.
What is the point in Naidu’s fight against EC, when he is really confident of winning the election is the one question that is confusing the TDP supporters now. The confusing reactions of Naidu, in two different situations, is what worrying the TDP activists.
As the TV channels that predicted Naidu’s victory are backed by TDP itself and all the other national media channels predicted YSRCP’s victory, Naidu seems exhibiting a fake confidence and is so going against election commission.
However, the actual results are scheduled to be out on May 23rd and it should be seen, how Naidu try to justify all his reactions, if at all he faces a defeat.
