It is known that Andhra Pradesh former chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu is very desperate to form good ties with the BJP at the center. Though Naidu’s agenda has been to fight collectively against a single opposition from the start of his political career, the BJP is attracting as many regional parties in the country.
For instance, even in Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP, being the unanimous victor, is trying its best to woo Modi and co by supporting all bills of BJP in the parliament. Of course, BJP formed an alliance with Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena. So, technically there is no opposition for BJP in AP as of now.
So, what would be the possible shortcut that Naidu is looking for to have a good tie with the ruling party at the center? It is the 2nd incharge in the saffron party, Amit Shah. It is known that Naidu is not letting any opportunity go off to be in the good books of Amit Shah and Modi.
Hence, CBN has decided to play his mark of politics at the first. After wishing Modi on his 70th birthday in September, Chandrababu had telephoned Amit Shah on the eve of his 56th birthday the other day and greeted him. Naidu wished great health and happiness to Shah.
The string buzz in Delhi political circles is that Naidu is trying to befriend the BJP once again as he is confident that BJP may seek the support of TDP in the upcoming elections in Telangana and as well as in hope of a formation of the BJP-Janasena-TDP ally in 2024 elections to fight the mighty YSRCP.
Will Shah fall in Naidu’s trap? What are your thoughts?
