One of the major reasons for the miserable defeat of TDP in Andhra Pradesh, is due to the differences it developed with BJP. The only way, the party could get back the lost glory is to settle the differences with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As “Raja guruvu” too suggested Naidu to do the same, the TDP Chief is now planning strategies to impress the Centre. Reportedly, he is already involved in discussions with the vice-president Venkaiah Naidu.

Though Venkaiah Naidu is away from the BJP, as a senior leader who worked for the national party for years, he still has the respect among the party leaders, which is what made Naidu approach him. Even Venkaiah Naidu has given him the required assurance.
If everything goes well, Chandrababu may soon involve in a meeting with the biggies of BJP. Congress leaders on the other side, are hinting Naidu to stay away from Modi, as it would worsen the position of the TDP in the state.
On the other side, even BJP leader Amit Shah is sending positive signals to TDP. As the national party has no future in AP, ties with TDP are expected to boost the position of the BJP in the state and thus face the supreme power like YSRCP in AP.
