TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is analyzing the reasons behind his party’s defeat in the 2019 Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Naidu said that it is the rivalry with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, that costed him dearly during the elections.
Naidu is meeting his party leaders in constituency-wise and as a part of the program, in Visakhapatnam, Naidu made the above comments. He admitted that such fight with Modi has not fetched anything great to AP.
The party chief further clarified that he had no personal rivalry with Modi or BJP, but went against him during the elections, only as he was unwilling to compromise the interests of the state. He said that he was vigorously fighting against the PM, demanding him to fulfill the promises made in the AP Reorganization Act.

Naidu suggested the leaders and other activists of the party, to be alert hereafter, and also warned him not to commit the mistakes like earlier. He also opined that the situation would have been different, had he been good with the PM.
It seems, Naidu is trying to tie up with Modi again, as he felt that TDP, has lost its significance in AP. If at all Modi, agrees to join hands with Modi, will Jagan will be able to tackle the combination of the duo is a question.
