Mukesh Ambani, the head of Reliance Industries and the tycoon of India, has bought another luxury villa abroad.
As per reports, the property on Palm Jumeirah was purchased earlier this year for Ambani’s youngest son, Anant. The deal was made for a whopping 80 million dollars (about Rs. 640 crores in Indian currency). This is the biggest residential property deal in Dubai so far, according to two people familiar with the matter.
However, the Bloomberg article reported that it was kept top secret as it was a private deal. It seems that one of Reliance’s offshore companies has done these deals secretly. Apart from customizing this villa, the Ambanis are said to be spending more crores on security.
This Palm Jumeirah in the shape of a tree is a complex of artificially arranged islands in Dubai. It has 10 bedrooms, a private spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The residences of British footballer David Beckham and Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan are also close to this villa.
