Noted Telugu filmmaker Maruthi is an exponent of situational comedy. He is said to be sticking to his strengths for his upcoming film, Manchi Rojulochaie, which had wrapped up the shoot already.
Apparently, the core plot of Manchi Rojulochaie is related to the Covid pandemic. The film revolves around the way in which the mentality and behaviour of people altered post the onset of Covid pandemic.
The film will bank on the situational comedy that is generated through the strange situations the lead cast find themselves in amidst the Covid outbreak.
Santhosh Shobhan of Ek Mini Katha fame and Mehreen play the lead roles in Manchi Rojulochaie which was shot in under 30 days. The film will be releasing in theatres very soon.
The character introduction teaser of the comedy caper, which was released recently garnered a good response from target audiences.
