Manasa Varanasi, a resident of Hyderabad in Telangana, on Wednesday was crowned the winner of Miss India World 2020 competition.
Miss India 2019, Suman Ratan Singh Rao from Rajasthan crowned her successor Miss India 2020. Femina Miss India 2020 competition was held on February 10, 2021, at an event in Mumbai.
Manasa Varanasi is a financial information exchange analyst and will represent India at the 70th Miss World pageant in December 2021.
Meanwhile, Haryana’s Manika Sheokand was declared Miss Grand India 2020 and Uttar Pradesh’s Manya Singh was crowned Miss India 2020 runner-up.
Born in the heart of Hyderabad, the 23-year-old has distinct interests ranging from books, music and yoga. She finds her mother, grandmother and younger sister the three most influential people in her life.
Apart from them, Manasa is inspired by actress Priyanka Chopra, who is also the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant.
The Miss India jury panel comprised of stars such as Neha Dhupia, Pulkit Samrat, Chitrangada Singh and celebrated designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock.
