We are all aware of the news that Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Sarileru Neekevvaru is being bankrolled by Anil Sunkara on AK Entertainments. In a recent media interaction, Anil Sunkara revealed about how Mahesh Babu and team faced difficulties to shoot at Pahalgam.
It is learnt that exactly on the shoot day, the unit was informed that for security reasons no one was supposed to shoot on Pahalgam–Srinagar road from 10 am to 5 pm. And they allowed only from permission was available only from 5 am to 10 am, which is an impossible thing to shoot due to light issues. It looks like the team faced huge difficulties in obtaining permission for shooting at the border.
He further said that “Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh helped our team to get the clearances. But we applied for bulletproof security for Mahesh, and he could reach Pahalgam because he was escorted by the security. But the vans of our production crew were not allowed to go, so we couldn’t shoot from Day 1.”
He also revealed that after shooting at Pahalgam, Sarileru Neekevvaru team later shot near Srinagar for a few days before wrapping up the schedule. However, they soon got to know the situation after they landed in Hyderabad about the announcement of abrogating Article 370. And the entire team then realized the security restrictions they experienced during the shoot in Pahalgam.
The film is slated to hit the screens on January 12th, 2020. Sarileru Neekevvaru is being directed by Anil Ravipudi and it is being bankrolled by AK Entertainments and SVC banners co-jointly. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine.
