Superstar Mahesh Babu has been awarded Best Actor for his fantastic performance in Maharshi. The film, which hit the screens in 2019, become a blockbuster at the box office and has bagged many awards since its release.
The 6th and 7th edition of Sakshi Excellence Awards was recently held in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu has been announced as the Best Actor for the year 2019 and the actor himself received the award on Friday in Hyderabad.
Besides Best Actor, the film also bagged two other major awards for the year 2019. The movie has been announced as the Best Film and director Vamshi Paidipalli got the Best Director award for Maharshi.
Maharshi was jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt, Prasad V Potluri, and Param V. Potluri under their production companies Sri Venkateswara Creations, the Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP Cinema.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently working for the upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.
