Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary, on Tuesday, asked the Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, to submit white papers on the new investments that took place in Andhra Pradesh in the last three years after the YSRCP came to power in 2019. This came after the statements made by CM Jagan regarding the various steps that the YSRCP government took towards the development of AP industrially.
Lokesh said that Jagan Mohan Reddy was making big and boasting about the investments mobilized by the TDP government and former Chief Minister Nare Chandrababu Naidu in the state. He said that it was Naidu that brought several industries to the state and encouraged investments in the state, which Jagan Mohan Reddy is inaugurating. He even said that Jagan drove away many investors in the last three years, with his reverse tendering policies, and that the Jagan government even scared away any new potential investors.
Lokesh even called out the various statements made by Jagan regarding the Davos summit, saying that all of that was fluff, and that there’s no truth to anything that Jagan said. Lokesh noted that Naidu is known all over the world for his developmental strategies and his vision, and questioned what the world knew about Jagan. He dared CM Jagan and the state government to release white papers regarding all of their statements, and to come for debate on the matter.
