Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh recently took a dig at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, saying that God played an interesting game with the CM, where he had to go to the Davos World Economic Forum on a special flight, with his companions. This statement became a matter of high political interest as CM Jagan Mohan Reddy very famously criticized Chandrababu about going to Davos in the past.
Jagan called Chandrababu’s Davos visit a scam, a show, back when Chandrababu went and took part in the event, saying that there were no investments taking place but that only a show was taking place. Lokesh said that this is what God’s script looks like, perhaps, and even said that Jagan may not have realized that he would become the CM one day, which made him make such statements in the past, and said that the trip could be just a vacation too.
Lokesh questioned whether people would recognise and invest in a state which Chandrababu was the CM of, given his expertise and skill at building the IT corridor in Hyderabad – the man who was responsible for great developmental activities in Hyderabad; or whether they would recognise and invest in a state for which Jagan was the CM, a state that went back 20 years due to Jagan’s incompetent rule.
