MK Stalin’s government took a crucial decision in the wake of the rising number of corona positive cases in Tamil Nadu. Recently, the Telangana state government issued a statement stating that it is extending the lockdown for another week in the state. The lockdown extension will be in force from May 24. Earlier, it was announced that Tamil Nad will be in lockdown from May 10 to 24.
As the lockdown period is coming to an end, CM Stalin conducted a high-level review meeting and discussed the situation of the state in the wake of the coronavirus. Medical and health experts suggest a two-week strict lock-down in the state to bring the situation under control. They were of the opinion that a strict lock-down should be imposed without exceptions, only then the corona would be brought under control. Emergency services are exempted from the lockdown.
