The green India challenge commenced by MP Joginapally Santosh kumar has created a lot of traction among the celebs. It’s undisputedly a successful campaign which propels everyone to take up the challenge in view of making cleaner India.
Tollywood stars have been consistently showing their interest on the Green India Challenge to improve the greenery ever since the lockdown began. The latest actress to join the bandwagon is Lavanya Tripathi, who was nominated by director Nandini Reddy. Decked up in a grey shirt and blue jeans with black boots, the actress is seen wearing gloves to plant saplings.
Reportedly she planted 50 saplings near Sahastradhara lake against the backdrop of marvelous scenic picturescape in a hilly road at Uttarakhand.
Lavanya along with her brother, family friends and other close companions were seen planting in the soil with lot of enthusiasm.
Sharing on the instagram, she said, ““Thank you @nandureddyy for nominating me for this wonderful cause, and as they say “the more the merrier”. I along with my brother asked these wonderful people to help us in this challenge and we together planted 50 trees #greenindiachallenge. I further nominate @rituvarma @actorkartikeya @vennelakish @nehwalsaina @anitha_reddy_27”(sic). While Karthikeya mentioned that he already did it but is okay to redo as he was nominated by Lavanya.
