Telangana minister KTR is very popular, and he always makes it a point to post a tweet or react to the affairs in the state.
His tweet on September 12th, on the sexual assault case of a 6-year-old in Hyderabad, has been drawing a lot of flak though, for the minister’s lack of proper communication.
KTR has been criticised heavily by opposition parties for this, especially by Telangana BJP chief spokesperson K. Krishna Saagar Rao who said that it’s sad to see that the TRS’s right had person himself doesn’t have proper information on the case.
KTR tweeted stating that the accused in the case has been caught by the police department, and just yesterday, he posted another tweet, apologising for his previous tweet, stating that the police is on a hunt for the accused.
On the other hand, Home Minister Mahmood Ali has also been receiving a lot of criticism for his lack of active participation in the state’s affairs.
The BJP is also demanding the resignation of Mahmood Ali. The Police department has announced a reward of Rs. 10 Lakh for those who identify the culprit.
