Everyone is aware of the news that Pawan Kalyan will kick-start working with period specialist Krish for a full-blown historical drama. The film is estimated to be made on a budget of Rs 150-170 crore, and it will be the costliest film in Pawan’s career.
Buzz in the tinsel town is that the director has kept strict conditions to Pawan Kalyan to shed weight for the movie to look more agile on screen.
“It was Krish who suggested that a fitter Pawan Kalyan would be more agile on screen. Pawan has already started on his weight-loss strategies,” says the source.
As he has to look slim and younger in the untitled project, he is following a strict diet regime for the past few weeks. Pawan Kalyan is also reportedly spending a considerable amount of time in the gym to shed out those extra kilos.
The actor, who took a longish sabbatical from acting to concentrate on politics, is not in the best of shape physically speaking. “Pawan has not done such slick Avengers/Marvel-style stunts before in his career. It is one thing to do the gimmicky action that Telugu cinema specialises in. But for him to carry off the Thor-Ironman kind of action, Pawan needs to seriously get into shape.”
It is heard that Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a number of intricate fight/action scenes in this period drama.
