Right after taking charge as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy has jumped into action and went against the officers who were against YSRCP.
RP Thakur, who worked as a DGP and AB Venkateshwara Rao as ACB, got transferred by the new government. Gautham Sawang has been appointed as the new DGP in place of RP Thakur. Both Thakur and Venkateshwara Rao faced allegations that they acted in favor of TDP. AB Venkateshwara Rao had to face transfer, during the elections itself, when YSRCP went against him and complained to the election commission.
After forming the government, Jagan is going strict with all the officials who were against his party earlier and is thus picking up only those who were in favor of him. The acts of this sort are common for every new government, but Jagan is inviting criticisms, with his instant strict reactions.
When YSRCP is on the opposition side itself, Jagan tried his best to bring RP Thakur down from the DGP position. But the Naidu’s government was in full support of Thakur.
Especially in Jagan’s “Kodi katthi case”, Thakur statements have gone viral, when he said that the opposition leader was trying to gain publicity out of his attack. Though the YSRCP Chief went against Thakur, TDP was in rescue of him at that time.
But finally, after forming the government, Jagan is able to take his revenge on Thakur and also AB Venkateshwarlu, who was the then intelligence officer.
