Kodali Nani is one among the aggressive leaders of YSRCP. He is unstoppable in Gudivada Assembly constituency for long. Initially Nani worked for TDP. But upon the differences with the party chief Chandrababu Naidu, he later shifted to YSRCP and turned as a close associate of the party Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.
As Nani witnessed series of victories as MLA, a few are anticipating that he would be inducted into Jagan’s cabinet of ministers and even the young CM is planning to do the same, the reports say.
Kodali Nani may soon be gifted with irrigation department. The discussions have already been started in this regard, the party insiders say.
But it should be noted that Nani, while speaking to the media recently, has said that, he is not going to seek any particular position. “Jagan is aware of me. I will accept whatever the party offers me and will stand behind him throughout.”
TDP has tried its best in defeating Kodali Nani in Gudivada constituency, by nominating Devineni Avinash as MLA candidate from the party. But TDP had to face defeat, as Nani emerged victorious with a thumping majority. Maintaining frequent contacts with the people of the constituency, made him a supreme power over there.
Gudivada people are willing to see Nani as minister. So if at all Jagan offers him irrigation department, everyone is of the opinion that he would live up to the expectations and handle the new position perfectly, just like how he is proven as a good leader in Gudivada.
