YSRCP Minister Kodali Nani has become famous for his very abusive and rash behavior in recent times. He continues to make controversial statements and throw tantrums at oppositions, especially the TDP.
Kodali Nani has now made yet another controversial statement, and political leaders are going bonkers listening to them. Nani has said that he met with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and has requested him to not make Amaravati even the Legislative Capital of Andhra Pradesh, because it is not worth that honor.
Nani has been very furious over the agitation the Amaravati farmers have been staging for over 270 days now, and he apparently wants to hurt the sentiments of the farmers. While this is undoubtedly cruel on his part, several politicians are saying that Nani is failing to understand the fact that Amaravati’s Legislative Capital status will slowly fade away into oblivion, once Jagan starts to operate fully from Visakhapatnam.
On the other hand, many others are saying that Nani is too innocent to see that Krishna District, from where Nani hails, would benefit the most from Amaravati being the capital. With Amaravati being stripped off its capital status, Krishna District will become inconsequential.
Furthemore, Nani said that Amaravati agitators have been opposing giving lands in Amaravati to 50,000 poor people, which is why he thinks Amaravati is unfit to be a capital of any rank.
