Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Indian Prime Minister, P.V.Narasimha Rao is a visionary and a legend in so many respects. He brought to his state and country the kind of reforms that no one had heard of before. He single handedly managed to revolutionise India’s economy when it was on the brink of collapsing.
P.V.Narasimha Rao was also instrumental in changing the way industries worked in the country, and made it more market oriented. Narasimha Rao proved himself to be a worthy leader and one of the most important and greatest Prime Ministers India has ever seen.
Talking about the legend on his 100th birth anniversary, TRS Chief and Telangana Chief Minister said that he will personally lead a group and request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to award P.V.Narasimha Rao with Bharat Ratna. KCR also said that Narasimha Rao needs to be recognised and celebrated for his contributions to the country.
KCR also said that there will be year long centenary celebrations to celebrate the leader and to pay homage to him. KCR added that all of Narasimha Rao’s contributions will be brought into light and be implemented according to the current day’s situation. KCR further said that the concluding ceremony of these centenary celebrations on June 28th, 2021 will be a spectacle to behold.
TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has also said that Bharat Ratna would be a fitting tribute for P.V.Narasimha Rao’s services to the country.
In his Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke about Narasimha Rao’s leadership and how he elevated India’s position in the world, and how he set an example for all Prime Ministers to follow.
