It’s known that Megastar Amitabh Bachchan had returned back to KBC 12th season as the host after he recuperated from covid-19. Yesterday an FIR was lodged on Big B and KBC makers in Lucknow for an inappropriate question framed and on top of that, an explanation given by Amitabh Bachhan added fuel to the fire hurting Hindu sentiments.
While in the Karam Veer special episode held last Friday, Social activist Bezwada Wilson and actor Anup Soni appeared on the latest episode of the show where the question valued at Rs 6,40,000 was posed by Amitabh. The question read, “On 25 December 1927, Dr BR Ambedkar and his followers burned copies of which scripture?” The options that were provided were, “(A) Vishnu Purana (B) Bhagavad Gita, (C) Rigved (D) Manusmriti.
As they answered Manusmriti..Amitabh Bachchan went onto throw light on how Dr. BR Ambedkar had set copies of Hindu text Manusmriti ablaze and denounced it in 1927. This elucidation irked netizens and soon they slammed Big B and KBC. Particularly Hindutva bigots asserted that this hurted Hindu sentiments.
