Ever since doubts were raised on Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter, Kavitha Kalvakuntla’s part in the Delhi Liquor scam, and the ensuing investigations that were done by the CBI in the case, a lot of people began questioning Kavitha’s silence on the matter. Not once did the Telangana Legislative Council member talk about her involvement in the case, raising a lot of eyebrows.
Naturally, this was a point that the opposition parties, like BJP and Congress, focused on. Reacting to the recent tweets that were made by Congress MP and Telangana in-charge Manickam Tagore and BJP leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy in this regard, Kavitha said that she’s innocent in the case, and that the same will be revealed soon.
Kavitha went on to say that her alleged involvement in the scam is nothing but a revenge ploy by the Bharatiya Janata Party, whose members are trying to defame the TRS and its members, by linking them up in unnecessary cases. Whatever Kavitha’s stance on the matter may be, it is to be seen what the CBI will ultimately conclude, regarding her involvement in the case.
