Kangana Ranaut’s much-awaited film “Thalaivi” has finally a locked a date for its theatrical release. Touted to be the first Pan-India film to release in theatres after the second wave, the biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is hitting the big screens on September 10.
The movie was, earlier, planned to release on June 26, 2020, but was postponed multiple times due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The second wave of Covid had further delayed the release and finally, the film has got a release date after the pandemic is diminishing.
The biographical film is directed by AL Vijay and also stars Arvind Swamy in the role of former Tamil Nadu CM MG Ramachandran. The film will have a worldwide release by Zee Studios in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages. GV Prakash has composed the music for this film.
