There were reports that Mahesh Babu would be joining hands with Prashanth Neel, who scored a blockbuster with KGF. Mahesh liked the plotline that was narrated by Prashanth and Geetha Arts was supposed to produce the film. But things took drastic turns after Prashanth narrated the full story to Mahesh as the latter was not convinced by it and politely dropped out of the project. Even Allu Aravind was not fully satisfied with Prashanth’s story. This took place prior to the release of Mahesh’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’.
Soon after, Prashanth narrated the same story to Jr NTR and the latter gave his nod to the project immediately. Mythri Movie Makers are likely to produce the film.
Prashanth indirectly hinted about the project by wishing Tarak on his birth with a cryptic message.
“So….finally I know how it feels like to sit next to a nuclear plant….next time bringing my radiation suit to be around all that crazy energy @tarak9999 Happy birthday brother!!! Have a safe and great day. See you soon… #HappyBirthdayNtr #stayhomestaysafe(sic),” he tweeted.
Well, it is very common that a story that gets rejected by a hero gets picked up by another and same is the case with Prashanth-Jr NTR film. There were numerous occasions when films which conceptualized on a similar theory turned out to be blockbusters.
Jr NTR will next be seen in Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. He will be joining hands with Trivikram for his next project. He is expected to work with Prashanth only after Trivikram’s film.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is starring in ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ which will be his next film. He is likely to work with Rajamouli next.
