The Janavani programme, launched by Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan, received a staggering response from the people of Andhra Pradesh. Nearly 500 petitions about various grievances from the public were received at the programme organised in Vijayawada.
The programme, which was set to take place on the 24th of this month, has now been postponed for a week. As per the official statement by the Janasena party, Pawan Kalyan has contracted viral fever after a visit to both the Godavari districts.
Along with the party president, some key leaders, program committee members and security personnel also fell ill with fever. Therefore, the programme has been postponed to July 31. Details will be announced soon.
Three phases of the Janavani programme have already been completed in Vijayawada and Bheemavaram. The remaining two programs will be held in Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra regions.
