AP CM Jagan Mohan turned out as a very clever politician in the last few years. Of course, the terrible mistakes of the CBN gave him space to analyze and sharpen his skills. But, unlike Chandra Babu, there are allegations of violence and misuse of power in every turn of his career as he is very desperate to show audacity.
Now, Jagan unlike his traditional approach to controversies took a new route to deal with the Telangana CM KCR on the Krishna River water controversy over the construction of the Pothireddypadu project. It is known that YS Jagan just had a meeting with PM Modi for 40 minutes and many believe that his interaction with the PM is to resolve the water issue peacefully.
Actually Jagan couldn’t have a better time to meet Modi as KCR is going berserk in the BJP and its government these days. The TRS supremo, in the wake of Bye-elections and other reasons, is waging a war against the BJP and Jagan has decided to make the most of it. Meanwhile, he supported every bill proposed by BJP in the parliament without giving any second for this chance.
However, Modi being aware of the sensibility and the real nature of this water controversy seems to have uninterested to interfere in the proceedings of the Apex Council that just concluded its video conference between the two state governments. Needless to say, Jagan’s desperation to pacify Modi for an undue advantage ahead of the council meeting has gone in vain and now the AP CM may look for alternatives.
