Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy severely went against TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu in the ongoing assembly meetings.
Jagan stated that he is not going to induct any TDP MLAs into his party unless they resign for the post. This in fact is a great relief to TDP, as no MLA will dare to do it and go for a by-election, as it is tough to win again amidst of YSRCP wave all over.
While Jagan’s decision may sound advantageous to TDP, on the other hand, one can also observe the strategy, Jagan is trying to play behind it. If at all he suppresses TDP in the state and make it lose the opposition position, then BJP will be the next option for AP to hold it.
Amidst of Prime Minister Narendra Modi wave in the rest of the country, except AP, if at all the national party, creates any considerable impact in the state, then the regional party like YSRCP finds it extremely difficult to tackle with BJP.
Adding to it, it may also destroy the relations between Jagan and Modi, which would again worsen the position of YSRCP in the state, just like how TDP burnt its hands, after going against Modi.
