Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to skip the 75th Independence Day celebration on August 15th in Delhi, but is set to go to Delhi on the 17th, and is expected to meet PM Narendra Modi on the day for a detailed discussion. Jagan was supposed to meet the PM on the 7th itself, but couldn’t do so as the PM was quite busy.
As a result, Jagan is now expected to meet Modi on the 17th, and sources say that the discussion could be as long as an hour, or even longer than that. The discussion is set to include personal, political and issues related to Andhra Pradesh. The meeting is reportedly said to even focus on the talk of the BJP getting a soft corner on the TDP, which further gained fuel after Modi’s recent interaction with Chandrababu Naidu.
Moreover, Jagan is expected to request Modi to extend the center’s support to the YSRCP government’s 3 capitals plan, as the government is expected to move the Supreme Court of India, regarding the matter, going against the High Court’s verdict that came out on March 3rd, ruling that Amaravati is the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.
