After the formation of YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is leaving no stone unturned to trouble the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Regarding this, the AP CM is planning to cancel PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements), signed in TDP’s regime. Though the Centre warned earlier saying that there is no such valid reasons to cancel them, he still continued to do the same, ignoring Centre’s warnings.
Now Union Minister RK Singh wrote to the AP CM one more time saying, “It will be wrong and against the law to cancel all the PPAs. The appropriate course of action for the reopening and cancelling of a contract should only be taken in cases where a prima facie case of corruption is made out based on objective evidence.”

One of the reasons for Naidu’s massive defeat in the earlier elections, is due to his tiff with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, just before the elections. Even after losing the power, the BJP is still not in a mood to leave Naidu alone and is planning to dig the old cases and trouble him to the core.
If Jagan continues to ignore Centre’s warning about PPAs and take his own decisions, then he will have to face the next jolt from BJP. It is not a big deal for Modi to target Jagan based on the corruption charges against him. So it would be better, if the young CM remains silent on a few issues, that may put Centre in trouble, if Jagan takes an action.
