Breaking the typical rules of a Chief Minister’s body language and the way of addressing people, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came up with his identical style.
Jagan is addressing senior IAS officers and other officials in the meetings, as Annas, which is now impressing the officials big time. Adding to it, unlike spending hours and days in the meetings, most of the review meetings conducted by Jagan are being completed in less than an hour, as the young CM is taking quick and also efficient decisions.
While the bureaucrats were asked not to work beyond 5.30 pm, even no official meetings are being conducted post lunch. With the initiatives of this sort, Jagan’s review meetings are now being lauded by the officials, who attended it. They are of the opinion that the changes of this kind, will make the officials and employees work more efficiently.
At most of his review meetings, Jagan is making sure that no corruption exists at any point in his Governance. He also told officials that they can tell the media directly, if he asks for favoritism in contracts.
