Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, had been maintaining mum on two important issues of the state, right from the beginning. Out of which one is Amaravati capital city construction and the other is Polavaram project.
After forming the government, Jagan once visited the Polavaram site and remained calm later. But in the ongoing assembly sessions, he now opened up about his take on the project.
Jagan said that he had to stop all the works of Polavaram till November, as the previous government had resorted to severe corruption in the name of the project. The YSRCP government has levied a committee to inquire about all the scams, the TDP has been involved behind Polavaram.

He announced in the assembly that he would receive report from the committee in the next two days and will not leave anyone, who is found guilty. After dealing with all such guilty people, it should be seen, what kind of activities, the YSRCP government undertakes, to move the Polavaram project forward.
On the other side, as he anyway gave a clarity on Polavaram, a few say that it would be better, if he also gives any such required clarity on his government’s take on Amaravati capital city construction.
