Jagan Mohan Reddy is a leader who cares the least about the consequences that will happen after his haste step. He won’t have any obligations to imply his wish or decision on the entire party. Now, the latest example is the selection of a candidate for the MLC seat.
Mopidevi Venkataramana, who was sent to the Rajya Sabha, needs to be replaced by an MLA from the remaining MLAs. As the notification came for this election, many optimists who were promised to get the post, rested their hopes. Everyone is eager to hear Jagan announcing their name.
However, to everyone’s shock Jagan had finalized the MLC ticket for Suresh, the son of the late Penmatsa Sambashivaraju. The nomination will be made on the 13th of this month. Everyone in the YCP was shocked by Jagan’s decision.
In fact, Penmatsa Sambashivaraju is the political Guru of Botsa Satyanarayana. But there are allegations that Botsa Betrayed Penmtasa. After he joined YCP before, Botsa made sure his political mentor won’t get a ticket.
Jagan has promised to give the Nelimarla ticket to Suresh, son of Penumatsa Sambashivaraju in the 2019 elections. Later with Botsa’s politics, he had to give the ticket to Botsa’s brother Appalanaidu in his place. Now, Jagan realized the importance of Suresh which will definitely not please Botsa and his supporters.
On the other side, all the optimistic MLAs who are very hopeful definitely got hurt. So, Jagan needs to watch out for an upcoming storm within his party. Already there is an image that Jagan won the assembly elections in the name of his father and by the sympathy of his untimely death. If Jagan wants to display these sympathetic politics everywhere, his own leaders will create many more problems for Jagan that would influence the state politics all of a sudden.
