Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has already clearly mentioned to his party cadres that this year’s elections are to be taken very seriously and set a target of 1 lakh votes for his victory from Pithapuram.
While Pawan is confidently leading the campaign from Pithapuram, there is an internal discussion in the constituency about the margin of his victory.
A recent ground-level survey done by an unnamed veteran psephologist identified that Pawan is seeing a huge upswing in the constituency. He is said to be leading his YCP counterpart Vanga Geetha by a huge margin.
While Pawan’s victory here is a done deal already, the margin of his victory is the only thing in question here. The chances are that Pawan might even win by 1 lakh votes majority, as targeted earlier. It appears to be that Pithapuram is going to hold fort for Pawan this year.
