Chatrapathi was a career-changing film for Prabhas. The Rajamouli directorial gave a mass image to Prabhas and is still regarded as one of the best commercial films in Telugu cinema.
Bellamkonda Srinivas and VV Vinayak then set out on the journey of remaking Chatrapathi for the Hindi audience.
After a long delay, the makers recently announced that the film will be hitting the theaters on the 12th of May.
But the issue here is that there is zero hype on the film as of now. While the prospect of being the remake of a blockbuster film like Chatrapathi might work in the favor, the lack of promotions and updates have set zero hype on the film.
Now that the release date is announced, it is time to amp up the promotions. Will the Hindi remake of Chatrapathi change Bellamkonda’s fate, like how the Telugu one changed Prabhas’s? We have to wait and watch.
