The much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is all set to entertain cricket lovers in less than two months. The richest cricket tournament is likely to be held in India, and the BCCI has zeroed in on five venues for the tournament.
Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Delhi have been provisionally recognised as host cities and Mumbai has been kept as an alternative as talks with the Government of Maharashtra is going on. In view of rising Covid-19 cases in Mumbai, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has not yet given the final go-ahead.
As per the reports, the IPL will be starting from April 11th and the management is planning to conduct this season for a period of 50 days.
Most likely, the BCCI will also allow spectators into the grounds, just as it has been doing for the ongoing India-England series.
