Previously, the Hyderabad Cricket Association faced stern backlash from the public during the India Vs Australia series when the vast majority of the tickets were blocked by the authorities and were sold through black market.
Now, the HCA is facing similar allegations as there are media reports that the tickets for the forthcoming ODI match between India and New Zealand in Hyderabad is seeing a lot of black ticketing.
Apparently, black ticketing is at a new high with the tickets being sold for double their price. As per media reports, a Rs 1500 ticket is being sold for Rs 3000.
The black ticketing has now resulted in enthusiastic fans unable to buy tickets online and having to go through these third party individuals and churn out big money for them.
This unprecedented scale black ticketing has led to netizens firing on the HCA over their poor management. The HCA is yet to comment about the same though.
As for the India vs New Zealand match, it will be kicking off at 1:30 PM tomorrow, the 18th of January. It is one of the first ODIs in Hyderabad in a while now.
