Indian star shuttler, Vizag Steel brand ambassador PV Sindhu, participated in various events organized at the Visakhapatnam steel plant. She inaugurated the children’s badminton at an indoor stadium. From there, she went to Vimala University and interacted with the students for a while. She presented medals to students who excelled in sports.
Sindhu thanked the people for their support and love towards her. The ace badminton player confidently said that she will win a gold medal in the 2024 Olympics with the same enthusiasm.
“I am thinking of setting up a badminton academy in Visakhapatnam. I will definitely try to set up an academy. I will do my best to cater to many players. I have seen many players excel in various sports during my school visits in the past. I hope all of them work hard and win medals for the country in the days to come,” said Sindhu.
PV Sindhu is the first Indian woman to win two individual Olympic medals in a row, including a silver in the Rio Olympics in 2016 and a bronze in the Tokyo Olympics earlier this month.
