The Council of Ministers headed by Chief minister of Telangana K.Chandrashekar rao has lifted the lockdown completely today. The Cabinet has assessed the reports submitted by the Medical and Health Department officials that COVID cases and the positivity rate have dwindled and the COVID-19 situation is under control.
As Telangana Cabinet chose to eliminate Covid-19 lockdown limitations in the state totally from June 20, Sunday, the timings for metro rail administrations in state capital Hyderabad are likewise set to change. The government instructed the metro authorities that changes and other updates related to train timings and other operations should be applicable immediately and continue to make general public follow the covid norms.
After Covid-19 limitations are lifted in Telangana, Hyderabad metro rail Limited (HMR) will now begin at 7 AM from June 21. HMR said in a statement that trains will run till 9 PM, which means last metro train from beginning stations will leave at that time.
“The Cabinet has sought people’s support for its decision of lifting lockdown stating that the decision was taken to protect livelihoods and resume public life. The Cabinet, however, requested the people not to be complacent or negligent and follow guidelines issued by the government,” it further added.
