Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been missing in action for quite a few days now, and no one knows the reason why. He even shifted his residence from Pragathi Bhavan to his farm house in Gajwel, and ever since then, rumors started to float around about his health.
A few days ago, a Mandamus petition was filed in the High Court, expressing concern over the Chief Minister’s health. The petition was filed by Naveen, popularly known as Mass Mallanna. Naveen stated the reason for the petition as the sudden and unexplained absence of the CM, after having conducted active press conferences till June 28th, where he announced the year-long centenary celebrations of Sri P.V.Narasimha Rao.
Now, the High Court has reverted back to the petitioner, and warned him not to file a petition like that ever again. The High Court also made it clear that the petitioner would be punished severely if such political games were played by him once again.
The High Court told the petitioner that habeas corpus should be filed, if the CM was out of public view, and the court also said that it couldn’t proceed with the filed petition under emergency basis, as requested by the petitioner.
Not just the petitioner, but several people, and the people of the state have been concerned ever since CM KCR was not to be seen in the public, causing several theories to come up. There is still no clarity over why the Chief Minister is not to be seen in public like he used to.
This only further deepens the question of his whereabouts, and the safety of his health.
