The Andhra Pradesh High Court has outraged the AP government regarding the procedure of arrest of the Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishnama Raju. The High Court recently heard a lunch motion petition filed by the government asking to quash the orders of the magistrate court. It questioned why the AP govt has not followed the orders of the High court and magistrate.
The AP High court incensed why the medical report of Raghurama was not submitted till 6 pm while it was ordered to submit by 12 pm. The High court said that an order copy was given at 11 pm but no action was taken. The High Court ordered to issue notices to CID Additional DG and Station House Officer. The court directed the Judicial Registrar to issue notices immediately under contempt of court. Also, it commented that the courts would respond when the fundamental rights of citizens were violated.
