The Bharatiya Janata Party is planning to strengthen itself in Telangana, and the Telangana BJP president, Bandi Sanjay, has been on his prestigious Praja Sangrama Yatra for quite some time now, where he has been touring every district of the state and interacting with the people. People like Amit Shah have also been a part of this padayatra, and now, BJP National President, JP Nadda, is about to be a part of it.
JP Nadda is set to address the people of Hanmakonda on Saturday, as part of the program, and permission for the same was sought and approved by the Hanmakond Arts college, which was rejected later on, as the police department didn’t give permission for such a huge public gathering to be held. The police department said that there were no permissions for public meetings and rallies under the limits of the Warangal Police Commissionerate till August 31. Warangal Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi said public meetings and rallies have been banned to maintain public order.
The BJP thus approached the High Court for clearance, and the High Court even granted the party permission for the meeting, under the condition that the BJP would given a written consent to the court that no one from the party would make any provocative speeches during the event.
